Community Giving* Pollard's has always had a desire to give back to the community that has been so supportive of our business. Besides donating to numerous local and national non-profit organizations, Pollard's has been supporting the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" for the past 15 years. In the beginning years, everyone in the Hampton Roads area walked in Virginia Beach - and Pollard's provided the food to feed them. Each year the Relay grew more popular and the attendance soared which made it impossible for one city to have an area large enough to accommodate everyone. Several years ago the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach began having separate Relays. Pollard's has continued to provide the food and the staff needed to feed and serve the Cancer survivors for all three Relays. Cancer has impacted virtually every family in some way and we want to do as much as we can to give hope to the survivors and their loved ones. The American Cancer Society is a wonderful organization, which supports cancer research and helps many people who have been touched by cancer. Pollard's is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society in honoring the successful, brave cancer survivors in our midst and we look forward to many more years of successful Relays for Life!
